Is serverless right for your new startup or business?

Hi there,

ServerlessOps Blog: A Tale Of Two Businesses

If you haven't read "A Tale of Two Teams" by Jeremy Daly then you should read it now because it's a fantastic read.

I started writing some thoughts on it in this newsletter after reading it and chatting with Jeremy. I've seen what I consider some incorrect take aways from other people. I read "A Tale of Two Teams" as a business, not technical story, and an allegory.

What started as a quick summation of why, turned into a discussion of startup and business funding models, execution, and how those can effect technical decision making, the success of our decisions, and ultimately the success of our business.

I'm aware that "A Tale of Two Teams" is just a story. The Phoenix Project is also just a story but I've spent the last few years listening to people claim their company played out just like the book. Good stories have a habit of taking on a life of their own, particularly when they represent our best hopes.

With that, I present: "A Tale of Two Businesses"
